The Department advances public safety through its fire prevention, investigation and education programs. The timely delivery of these services enables the Carolina Beach Fire Department to make significant contributions to the safety of Carolina Beach.

Kure Beach Fire Department

The Kure Beach Fire Department was founded in 1947 and is located behind Kure Beach Town Hall. The Department has 8 Full Time Employees, 5 Part Time Employees, and 27 volunteers. Seasonally, we employee over 30 ocean rescue personnel from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
